PIMS + MediCare

1st MEETING in January: K was emaciated with severe infections & bed sores. The elderly parents were already debt-ridden and couldn’t afford more care. We took K to Shifa & paid Rs. 13k for assessment (receipt attached) & estimated Rs. 4.8lakhs for 3 surgeries only and unknown additional hospital costs. Had 2nd opinion with Medicare Hospital in Rawalpindi who evaluated his condition at home & said needed critical care. Given the charity situation, assured a subsidised rate – family chose this option.

STATUS: 2 surgeries completed with 3rd in a few weeks. Nothing paid yet. Invoice covers 100% care, hospital stay, nursing care, medical attendance, follow-up home care, dressings, nutritional infusions etc. An outstanding hearing loss treatment needed after surgery and cost is unknown (hearing aid already donated).

FUNDRAISING COLLECTION – Karar from Hunza is volunteering by helping the family with all needs and managing donations and payments. Pls contact Karar’s WhatsApp is +92 343 5269447 if you can kindly help.
